We are looking for a motivated colleague to join our technical team who can independently set up and dismantle equipment for us after several trial runs. The technical difficulty is relatively low, as the equipment is exclusively plug-and-play and self-explanatory after a brief introduction. We place great value on teamwork and quick comprehension. Being able to think for others is just as important as reliability and punctuality. You should not have back problems and be a night owl. Let's be honest: the working hours are very demanding – but the actual net working time is rather short! You must have a driver's license; we will provide a small truck. All the technical equipment we use belongs to us and is therefore always available.
Working hours are very flexible due to the nature of the work. The working day usually starts in the early afternoon (80% of assignments are on Fridays and Saturdays) with setting up the equipment at the agency in Winterhude and loading our small truck. Then we head to the location in and around Hamburg to set up.
We coordinate the technical package with the customer in advance and discuss all the details with the venue. This ensures that the technician is always welcome on site and is received accordingly. Time required per event: approx. 2 hours for setup and 2 hours for dismantling, including travel time. Dismantling usually takes place around 3:00 a.m. or sometimes the next morning. In the meantime, the technician has time off but must be available on call. After dismantling, the technician usually returns to the agency together with the DJ, where the equipment is unloaded and stowed away again. All our equipment is small and compact and weighs no more than 25 kg per item. The equipment for a normal event would theoretically fit into a VW Golf station wagon, that's how compact it is. You can either have a trade license or, alternatively, a €450 job is also possible, part-time by arrangement, and no alcohol may be consumed during working/deployment hours.
We are a small team of cool personalities who have the privilege of organizing what are arguably the best and most exclusive events in and around Hamburg. Our venues include locations such as the Hotel Atlantic Kempinski, Hanse Lounge, Am Kai, Süllberg, Louis C. Jacob, Nord Event Locations, Schloss Weissenhaus Spa & Resort, Ameron Hotels, Mazza – and on Sylt: Severins Spa & Resort, Budersand, Sturmhaube, Buhne 16, etc. In addition to private individuals, our customers include Montblanc, Vodafone, EON, Airbus, Bacardi, American Express, Porsche, Roche, etc., whom we have been serving for many years. There is always something to experience with us, and we maintain a very nice and friendly relationship with each other. We have fun and are at the helm of events to which one would otherwise not receive an invitation.
Remuneration. We pay a flat rate per event that is carried out. Sometimes it's just one, sometimes five in a day. So it never gets boring! If an event does not end at 3:00 a.m., there is additional overtime pay, as the dismantling is postponed accordingly and the end of the working day is also delayed.
